    The VideoMic R is a short shotgun microphone with Rycote shockmount, designed for use with camcorders and personal audio recorders. Featuring a built-in shock mounting system, standard shoe mount and also includes a 3/8 inch thread adapter so it can be mounted on a boom pole or stand.

    The super cardioid polar pattern is highly directional, focusing on the subject in front of the camera, and minimising any surrounding sounds. The mic is powered by a 9v battery and includes a windshield.
