The Pioneer DDJ-XP1 is the perfect way to get the most out of the new features found in RekordBox 5.0
There are 16 performance pads for each deck which can be used to set and trigger hot cues, beat loops, samples as well as the new key shift and keyboard modes. Match any two tunes in harmony with Key shift and play a cue point using the pads like a keayboard.
With the new pad editor you can even assign rows of pads to certain modes to get even more creative, you can have one row of cues and another of loops.
The DDJ-XP1 is also a great addition to RekordBox DVS setup with 2 turntables or media players and mixer this gives you the traditional mixing controls with the functionality of a controller.
Pioneer have also included licenses for the full version of Rekordbox DJ and the DVS expansion pack.
