The Modal Electronics Skulpt Virtual Analog Synthesizer is a compact virtual analogue synthesizer with 32 oscillators across 4 voices for huge sound sculpting capabilities and a hands-on approach to sound design.
The SKULPT features 8 oscillators per voice with two selectable morphable waveforms. The intuitive design features a 16-key touch MIDI keyboard that allows you to create and audition sounds on the fly. The synth also features a built-in sequencer and arpeggiator and an 8-slot modulation matrix with 37 destinations in total. Create huge bassline sounds to cutting-edge pads and leads with SKULPT.
SKULPT has a wide array of features allowing for total control over your sounds. There are three envelopes and two audio rate LFO’s to help add movement and variety to your sounds. A rich sounding resonant filter can be morphed through low, band, and high pass - perfect for further sound-shaping and ideal as a performance tool along with the arpeggiator and built-in effects like delay and distortion giving you the hands-on edge over your sound.
Although a compact and portable synthsizer, the SKULPT is packed full of features to rival them all. The unit features MIDI clock sync for LFO’s and Delay. You can even chain up to four units together to create even richer soundscapes with 16 voices. Supplied with MIDI DIN in and out and Analogue clock sync in and out, the synth can be connected to a drum machine, or any other device for unlimited possibilities. The synth can be used in standalone or controlled via the Modal App on iOS, Android, Mac or Windows thanks to its integrated USB/MIDI connectivity.
Just connect a MIDI keyboard/controller to the device running the app, and play CRAFTsynth directly. Both USB and Bluetooth MIDI are supported.
