EVO 4 provides ultra low latency performance delivering clean, detailed sound with 2x EVO Mic Preamps and class leading converters. The microphone inputs on the back are combi jacks and will take XLR microphone and regular jack inputs at line level. For guitar, a Hi‑Z input is located on the front, and routes to channel 1. This is run by JFET transistor technology for some added tone.
EVO 4 comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable which provides 48v phantom power across the 2 inputs. There are two excellent sounding headphone outputs with individual volume control for monitoring.
iOS recording/streaming solution
EVO 4 can be set up with an iOS device to create the perfect mobile recording or streaming solution, and comes with Cubasis 3 LE, an iOS recording app.
Please note: with iOS devices that use the lightning connector you will need the Apple Camera Connection Kit and a Powered USB hub to provide the USB bus power required to sufficiently power the interface as the lightning port itself cannot provide enough power. However, the latest iPad Pro models use USB-C so they will sufficiently power the interface directly.
